After trying numerous approaches to match the hex color code background color on my AdSense ads, backgrounds or any other color matches I finally figured out an easier way than looking through lines and lines of php code on the templates or guessing the 6 digit hex code with color swatches.
1. Printscreen or screenshot the color you are trying to identify or match
2. Open up Photoshop or another similar program and paste the screenshot into a new file, using the programs color picker or “eye dropper” on Photoshops tools, select the mystery color you are trying to match and in the detailed view you can get the 6 digit hex color code.
It may sound to simple to explain, and easy for most but hopeful if this small amount of information helps one person that’s all that matters
